Importance of Exercise
There are many benefits of regular exercise and main-taining fitness and these include;
Exercise improves both the strength and the efficiency of our cardiovascular system to get the oxygen and nutri-ents to your muscles. When our cardiovascular system works better everything seems easier and we have more energy for the fun stuff in life.
Again staying active keeps muscles-strong and joints, tendons and ligaments flexible, allowing us to move more easily and avoid injury. They also improve co-ordination
and balance.
Exercise increases blood flow and oxygen levels in the brain. It also encourages the release of the brain chemi-cals that are responsible for the production of cells in the hippocampus, the part of the brain that controls memory and learning.
How to Control Global Warming
The major green house gases are water vapour, which causes about 36-70% of the green house effect. Carbondioxide, which causes 9-26% methane which causes 4-9% and Ozone which causes 3-7%.
Global warming is projected to have a number of ef-fects on the oceans. Ongoing effects include rising sea levels due to thermal expansion and metting of glaciers and ice sheets and warming of the ocean surface, leading to in-creased temperature stratification.-
Some ways to stop Global Warming:
(i) Change a light, replacing one regular light bulb with a compact fluorescent light bulb will save 150 pounds of carbon dioxide a year.
(ii) Drive less. Walk bike carpool or take mass transit.
(iii) Avoid product with a lot of packaging.
(iv) Planting of more tree.
(v) Buy energy efficient products.
