(a) What do you understand by duties of citizens?

Ans: Duties of citizens refer to the responsibilities and obligations that individuals have towards their society, which typically include obeying laws, paying taxes, defending the country (if required), and participating in civic activities.

(b) Mention the eleventh duty included in 2002.

Ans: The 86th amendment to the Constitution of India in 2002 provided the right to education as a fundamental right. A new article 21A was added which made the right to education a fundamental right for children between 6-14 years.

If we destroy nature, drought, flood, increase in global temperature, acid rain, etc. will occur and our life and livelihood will be threatened. That is why we should always encourage the protection of the natural environment such as planting trees, stop cutting down trees for no reason, maintain lakes, rivers and forests and encourage others to do the same. In addition, it is important to maintain the balance of the environment for all living beings so that they can survive properly as an integral part of nature.
